Trips and residentials
At Cossington, we want to inspire children to engage fully in their learning both in and out of the classroom. Trips, visits and visitors provide all children with the opportunity to experience the wonders of our local community and beyond. They can also act as a starting point for every learner, introducing the learning to come and inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm within their education. The trips we run may be to an inspirational location, a visit from an expert in the topic and completing residentials in the Seedlings, Saplings and Oaks classes. The document opposite details our trips, visits and visitor plan for the school.
Below are some examples of the trips and residentials that the children are able to go on:
"Year 2 Residential to Beaumanor Hall"
"Year 3 and 4 residential to PGL in Caythorpe "
"Year 5 and 6 residential to Dukes Barn in Derbyshire "
"Class Saplings Trip to the Botanical Gardens in Oadby"
"Saplings trip to the rivers at Bradgate Park"
"Seedlings trip to Lincoln Castle "
